Annamalai Unnamalai Set (Arunachaleshwara) - 13 to 14 inches - Paper Mache

Annamalai Unnamalai Set (Arunachaleshwara) – Paper Mache

The Lord of Thiruvannamalai and his consort, moulded as a pair – Annamalaiyar draped and garlanded before a gold arch, and Unnamalai Amman standing on her pedestal beneath a full gold prabhavali.

Moulded and hand-painted in paper mache by Indian artisans, the pieces are light to lift and set out, with the garlands and gold work built up by hand. Each set is finished individually, so no two are exactly alike.
