Product Description

Size: 18 inches (H) x 13 inches (W)
Make: Handcrafted and hand-painted by skilled artisans
Material: Premium Paper-Mâché (PM) with vibrant, long-lasting paints

Goddess Kamakshi is seated in regal poise with Bala (Bala Tripurasundari) on Her lap, framed by an ornate gold-finish thiruvachi arch. The sugarcane bow, flowering arrow, noose and goad are finely detailed, and the parrot at Her side is picked out in bright green — a striking centrepiece for the top step of your Golu.

The generous 18-inch height makes this set ideal as the main attraction on your Navaratri Golu steps, in a home pooja room, or as festive décor.

Spiritual & Cultural Significance

Kamakshi, the presiding Goddess of Kanchipuram, is worshipped as the compassionate Mother who fulfils the sincere wishes of Her devotees.

  • The sugarcane bow represents the mind; the flower arrows, the five senses.
  • Bala, the child form of the Divine Mother, signifies new beginnings, learning and the protection of children.
  • Together They are invoked for prosperity, harmony at home and clarity of mind.

  • Navaratri Golu / Bommai Kolu displays

  • Housewarming (Griha Pravesham), wedding and Seemantham gifting
  • Collectors of traditional South Indian art
